Gross Margin

Definition

A profitability ratio calculated by subtracting the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) from net revenue and dividing the result by net revenue. It indicates the percentage of revenue that exceeds the direct costs of producing goods, serving as a measure of production efficiency.
