The Resolution The directors of the company resolve that it is in the best interests of the company to:
A. Approve the purchase of one (1) new 2024 model Ford Ranger vehicle for the use of site supervisors.
B. Authorise the Company Secretary to enter into a commercial chattel mortgage with CommBank for the total sum of $65,000.00 to fund this purchase.
C. Authorise John Smith to sign all documents required by the bank to finalise the loan.

This example shows a resolution for a vehicle purchase. Note that resolution A defines exactly what is being bought. Resolution B authorises the specific loan type and bank. Resolution C delegates signing authority. The directors signed on different dates, which is acceptable under Section 248B as long as all directors sign eventually.
