Your resume, read faithfully — and reviewed by you
Paste a resume or upload a PDF and PropoDoc turns it into a clean, structured preview. You see exactly what was understood, field by field, confirm the important details, correct anything that's off, and export. You stay in control of the result.
The review journey
Four steps — you drive each one.
1. Add your resume
Paste the text or upload a born-digital PDF. (A scanned image of a resume can't be read — there's no text to extract — so you'll get a clear "couldn't read it" message rather than a guess.)
2. See the structured preview
Your resume is organised into contact, summary, experience, education, skills, and certifications. Each field carries a small confidence indicator showing how clearly it was read.
3. Confirm your contact details
We pull your name, email, and phone directly from the text (never invented). You confirm them — these anchor the rest of the result.
4. Correct & export
Spot a typo or a missed detail? Edit it inline and we re-read with your correction. When it's right, export to PDF, HTML, or structured JSON.
Confidence means how faithfully it was read — not how good you are
The confidence indicators describe how faithfully we parsed your document — parse-fidelity only, never candidate-quality. A low-confidence field means "we're not sure we read this correctly," not "this is weak." It's a prompt to take a look and correct it if needed.
When a field is genuinely unclear or missing, we say so explicitly (a "needs review" flag) rather than guessing. We do not guarantee the parse is error-free — that's exactly why you review it before exporting.
What happens to your resume
Your resume content is processed by our structured-parsing provider, AWS Bedrock, which operates in the United States (us-east-1). This means your content crosses an international border for processing — a cross-border disclosure handled under the Australian Privacy Act (APP 8). Before you submit a resume, we ask you to acknowledge this.
AWS Bedrock is configured with zero-data-retention — the model provider does not store your content after processing or use it to train AI. However, zero-data-retention is a training control: it does not eliminate the cross-border disclosure, which is why your informed consent matters.
The structured result and the rendered export are kept under your account so you can return to them. Source artifacts (the parsed output used to build your preview) are retained for a short, fixed window and then purged; you can delete a conversion from your dashboard at any time.
We log only what's needed to operate and secure the service — never your full resume text in error logs or analytics. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Review, correct, or delete — anytime
- Review & correct: every field is editable in the preview; corrections are re-read on the spot.
- Export: download as PDF, HTML, or structured JSON.
- Delete: remove any conversion from your dashboard — the structured data and its source artifacts are purged.
- Access & portability: the structured JSON export is your data, in a portable format.
Common questions
Do you score or rank my resume?
No. PropoDoc faithfully reformats what's in your document — it does not screen, rank, rate, or judge it. The confidence signals describe parsing quality, not you.
What if my resume is a scanned image?
Image-only PDFs have no text layer to read, so we can't parse them. Export your resume as a text-selectable PDF (or paste the text) and try again.
Is my resume used to train AI?
No. Parsing runs under a zero-data-retention configuration — your content is processed to produce your result and is not retained or used for training by the model provider.
How accurate is the parsing?
On our test corpus the parser recovers fields with high fidelity, but no automated parse is perfect — which is why you review and can correct every field before exporting.
Resume parsing is rolling out in beta. Availability may be limited while we scale access.
