Site Rules

1. PPE: Hard hat, high-vis vest (Class D/N), safety glasses and steel capped boots must be worn at all times on site.
2. Induction: All workers must sign in and complete a site induction before starting work.
3. Alcohol and Drugs: No person under the influence of alcohol or drugs is allowed on site.
4. Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited on site.
5. Speed Limit: Maximum speed limit on site is 5 km/h due to limited space.
6. Unauthorised Access: No unauthorised persons allowed on site. Site gate to remain locked when no workers present.
7. Reporting: All injuries, incidents and near misses must be reported immediately to Sarah Jenkins.

• Waste Management: Skip bin for general waste at front driveway. Separate bins for plasterboard and timber.

Site Security

• Fencing/Hoarding: Temporary fencing around perimeter. Front hoarding installed for public safety.
• Signage: 'Men at Work' and 'Safety Helmet Area' signs at main gate.
• Site Access Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday.
• Lock up Procedure: Sarah Jenkins to lock site office and gate last daily.

Environmental Controls

• Dust Control: Use water spray on excavation areas. Keep piles of sand/soil covered.
• Noise Control: No noisy work (saws, jackhammers) before 8:00 AM or after 3:00 PM.
• Runoff/Sediment Control: Silt socks installed at driveway entrance to stop mud entering street drains.

Consultation and Communication

• Toolbox Talks: Every Tuesday morning at 7:30 AM. Minutes recorded in the site diary.
• Issue Resolution: Raise safety issues directly with Sarah Jenkins or HSR Mike Ross.
