4. CONTROL MEASURES

Hazard: Fall from Height

• Control 1: Erect 2m high perimeter scaffold with handrails and toe boards before work starts.
• Control 2: Install safety mesh (AS 3972) over rafters immediately after old roof removal.
• Control 3: Workers to wear full harness connected to anchor point while installing mesh.
• Control 4: Keep work area clean and dry to prevent slips.

Hazard: Electrocution

• Control 1: Contact Ausgrid services to isolate solar panels before starting.
• Control 2: Identify all cable runs on roof plan.
• Control 3: Use non-contact voltage tester before touching cables.
